On-site exploration of the works of Sou Fujimoto, Zaha Hadid Architects, Herzog & de Meuron, Santiago Calatrava, Coop Himmelb(l)au, Hitoshi Abe, NO.MAD, Snøhetta, Peter Zumthor, Boris Podrecca, David Chipperfield, Peter Cook, Dominique Perrot, INNOCAD, Renzo Piano, Le Corbusier, and seminal contemporary European practices.
CURATION AND LEAD:
Led by Damir Kovačić, a curator and broadcaster of 250+ episodes on architecture; interviews with world-leading figures like Koolhaas, Mayne, Fujimoto, Aulenti, Maas, etc. Current research and series focus on European architecture and have earned an endorsement from Zaha Hadid Architects and other practices. BACKGROUND:
The field study was conceptually based on a documentary series on newly built European architecture (particularly Austrian and Swiss), supported by the professional community and the Cultural Forum of Austria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
